We Lost Our Magic Keys

Our family has had Disneyland passports since before Faith turned one. After the pandemic, Disneyland released their Magic Keys to replace the Annual Passports. We snagged those within the first few months once we were able to go back. It’s been lots of fun going there over the years alone and with the entire family. But this year we decided to take a break.

I can’t say it was an easy decision and we definitely are going through withdrawals. But there’s no going back now. Our keys expired and we Disney won’t allow renewals if you have passed your expiration date. As of today, there are no new sales of the keys either. So the only way to go and visit the parks would be to purchase tickets.

In place of our usual Disneyland escape we are going to try and fill our year with other family activities. And with the money saved we may use the money to plan a trip out of California where we have to fly. I think we are finally brave enough to fly somewhere with Jed — at least somewhere with good medical facilities nearby.
