There’s nothing like watching kids grow older. T There’s nothing like watching kids grow older. They really do make you realize time is flying by. I still think Allie and I are just out of school. But here we are, ten years and two kids later. We don’t spend as much time being goofy. Jobs and children take lots of time and planning. I often wish I had a remote control to freeze time — just to hit pause. The relationship I have with #msfaithrae and #mrje The relationship I have with #msfaithrae and #mrjededward is definitely different than the one they have with their mommy. Although Faith has her princess moments she sometimes still likes to roughhouse. But she has gotten big enough to where I have to slow her down so that neither of us gets hurt. I try to encourage the brave little girl inside of her. Jed, is like a little bull. Literally. He likes to head butt me and I have to be aware of when he is close or else I’ll be in a world of hurt. So I try to get down on the ground and let him wrestle and “fight” with me. He is always looking for and just wants her to be around. And then there is #msfaithrae who seems to want to be mommy. It truly is something special to be able to se their bond with their mommy. I usually consider it Christmas season once we hav I usually consider it Christmas season once we have passed Thanksgiving. But of course, the Christmas photos need to be taken ahead of time so that they can be enjoyed during the season. So this weekend we headed over to downtown Redlands to take some pictures at @theneutralspace_. As per usual, a new season meant a new set of matching pajamas. Shooting a 3 year old is challenging whether or not the 3 year old is your own. Shooting a 3 year old and trying to get in the picture at the same time with the intervalometer was comical. #msfaithrae turned 8 this year in August. Due to o #msfaithrae turned 8 this year in August. Due to our schedules we ended up celebrating with a staycation here at Disneyland. It was fun seeing the kids experience Disney in a different way as they are a few years older than the last time we were here. #mrjededward, at 3 years old, is a lot more interactive and even sometimes asks to take pictures at certain times.

The family took @semperjeff out for Father’s Day The family took @semperjeff out for Father’s Day to the renaissance fair in Corona. This was the first time we have gone to one since having kids and the first one where we have tried to get dressed up.
