Mother’s Day Metrolink Adventure to Downtown LA with Vegan Food at Olvera Street

This year I planned a day trip to downtown Los Angeles for Mother’s Day. The idea was to hop on the Metrolink train in San Bernardino and ride it into Union Station in downtown Los Angeles where we could walk to Olvera Street and explore the shops and take in the sights. Unfortunately we had a delay where our train had a collision with a pedestrian causing a two hour delay. They said there was no fatality so that was good. But we ended up having to cut out things we would have done had we arrived on time. Nevertheless, we were happy to spend the day as a family together on another adventure.
