For weeks now the wife (Allie) has been talking about how she feels the baby girl do this or do that.
I’ve tried to touch her belly and no luck.
Until…tonight.
My wife yells at me to come over. At this point in the pregnancy I just come. I don’t know if it’s to help her get off a couch or if it is to show me something we need to purchase.
Her hands are on her stomach and she instructs me to place my hands just so.
I stand quietly, half expecting to be disappointed and not feel anything.
But… boom!
Well, maybe it was more of a nudge. But it felt like a boom.
I don’t know what the lil one is doing. Maybe she was head butting. Maybe she was kicking. Heck, for all I know she was punching.
But I felt her.
And it made me laugh.
