On this visit I selected the Enchiladas de Mole. Instead of chicken, they substituted some black beans. I asked for some Spanish rice. If you’re strict with your vegetarianism, then avoid it. They use chicken broth to make their Spanish rice. Intead, I ordered some white rice with my enchiladas.
The wife and I also ordered some fresh guacamole. They prepare this tableside for you and can custom make it to your taste.
The enchiladas were tasty. The tortillas were cooked just right. Not too soft and not too crispy. Overall, I think adding the black beans to the enchiladas (on the inside), is something I would not repeat. I’d probably leave the beans on the side and ask them to make it just a cheese enchilada instead.
The guacamole was excellent. Nothing beats freshly made guacamole made just the way you like it.
