The River Belle Terrace is techincaly located in Frontierland. This was not totally obviousl to me as I usually see it while walking through Adventureland as I pass the Bengal Barbecue and Tarzan’s Treehouse. They’re listed as serving American Cuisine and the atmosphere is casual. You can expect to pay about $15 to $34.99 per adult. This locale has a 4/5 dot rating on TripAdvisor as of 1/17/18 and 3/5 star rating on Yelp as of 1/17/18.
I happened to walk by around 11:30 AM and decided to check if they had any tables available for a party of one. It turned out that they were completely empty. After checking in I was asked to wait for a server to come and get me.
I waitied for about a minute and was led inside to my table.
As you can see in the picture above, they were completely empty. I was the first guest there and while it slowly filled up during my meal, it probably never filled to more than 40%.
I ordered the Creamy Pimento Cheese Dip as a starter and the BBQ Tofu as my entree. For the sides I chose the seasoned vegetables and tater tots.
The cheese dip soon came out with a couple pieces of pretzel and a few celery sticks. The starter is definitely portioend for one — maybe two. Since I was alone, I didn’t mind. The cheese dip was creamy but a bit mild. I would have liked a stronger taste. The pretzel was nicely salted. I’m not sure what the dipping sauce was, though.
The BBQ tofu was well done. The tofu cubes were crisp and tasty. The BBQ sauce was as expected. I would have preferred less sauce but that is my own personal preference. The vegetables were excellent. Great flavor and cooked just right. The tater tots could have been a little more well done.
Overall a good meal, though. Unfortunatley the two things I ordered above were the only vegetarian options on the menu. So if you are travelling with a group of vegetarians, you might all have to order the same dish — which some people do not like to do.
