Growing up as a vegetarian you just get used to having fewer options than anyone else. Within the last few years, though, more and more places are trying to offer vegetarians more of an option. Disneyland is starting to offer more options for those of us who do not eat meat for whatever reason.
Of course, being a vegetarian will not prevent you from partaking in the multitude of sugary delights. From churros, to ice cream, to cotton candy, Disneyland is full of these delicious treats. But if you’re looking for something a little more filling, then hopefully this series will be useful for you.
For the innaugural post of the Disneyland Dining series (it includes Disney’s Calfiornia Adventure) I’d like to invite you all to Disney’s California Adventure, specifically to Cars Land. As you walk down through the main avenue of Cars Land towards the scenic backdrop you will notice the Cozy Cone Motel on your left-hand side. The Cozy Cone Motel stands in as a snack shop. Each cone has a distinct name and specializes in different menu items. Make your way over to the cone #3 named Cone Queso. Cone Queso sells cones made out of flatbread filled with chili, cheese, and corn chips. And while their default chili isn’t vegetarian, they do offer a vegetarian version if you ask for them.
The chili is tasty and the comibnation of the edible cone, cheese, and tortilla chips makes this a warm, savory snack or light meal.
