It’s incredible how much planning it takes to pull off a vacation at Disney World. Locals may not feel that way but when you’re flying in and you won’t be coming back anytime soon, you have to plan ahead. After spending the first theme park day in Hollywood Studios we ventured to Magic Kingdom.
We intentionally planned it so that our first day in the parks would be our lighter day since we would likely be tired from traveling. The idea was to recover a bit for the trek into the Magic Kingdom. I think it paid off because we opened and closed that park arriving before opening for an early breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest and then finally leaving after fireworks.
The following day was our rest/relaxation day. We took care of laundry, went grocery shopping, spent some time at the pool and then ended it with a dinner at Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
