Faith has been missing mommy time. With the new baby, she has noticed that the attention is not on her the way it used to be. A few weeks ago I got to take Faith to Disneyland for the first time since the pandemic. Allie decided to take Faith for a mommy-daughter day so they could have a chance to hang out alone without the newborn and also to celebrate their birthdays (their birthdays are 5 days apart). While they went off to Disneyland I stayed home with the baby. The baby had been on quite a streak of bad days so I was a bit nervous.
The girls had a great day. They got on 25 rides and they didn’t even stay until closing. The baby and I survived. My parents ended up coming over to help relieve me for several hours which gave me a chance to take a nap.
